Stole this joke from YL, but good jokes should be passed around, right?

Job Placement

Taken from YL's blog... hope she won't kill me for that.

Proper job placement:

1. Put 400 bricks in a closed room.
2. Put your new hires in the room and close the door.
3. Leave them alone and come back after 6 hours.
4. Then analyze the situation:

If they are counting the bricks, put them in the Accounting Department.
If they are recounting them, put them in Auditing.

If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks, put them in Engineering.

If they are arranging the bricks in some strange order, put them in Planning.

If they are throwing the bricks at each other, put them in Operations.

If they are sleeping, put them in Security.

If they have broken the bricks into pieces, put them in Information Technology.

If they are sitting idle, put them in Human Resources.

If they say they have tried different combinations, they are looking for more, yet not a brick has been moved, put them in Sales.

If they have already left for the day, put them in Management.

If they are staring out of the window, put them in Strategic Planning.

If they are talking to each other, and not a single brick has been moved, congratulate them and put them in Top Management.

The Birthday

It was a memorable birthday yesterday... I have my birthday on July 7, where I have my dinner at KLCC with my brother and his girlfriend. We were having our dinner at San Francisco Pizza... for starter we have the artichoke and spinach dip, peking duck pizza, another pizza which I can't quite remember the name, fettuccine with tequila sauce, Marinara Marsala sauce spaghetti and a bottle of Cabernet saugvinon for drinks. I foot the bill because it is unfair for my brother to pay the bill. However, he got me a book which I will be using soon. Thanks bro.

Then, I went out with friends to the mamak stall before hitting the bed at 3:30am. Woke up at 7am and took a shower and hit the road to reach the place that I think I will be skinned alive. But turned out it was an eventful activities. We played paint ball at Bukit Jalil. We have 14 players, Khoo Teck Kheng aka Katak aka Baby (by his wife), Mrs. Katak (Jenny) aka The Angry Wife, Claire the cutey and a very good sister or Mrs. Katak, Victor, Tall Guy (Go Lo), Vic Kang, Ah Yang (He has the same birthday), Min Siang aka Elephant aka Big Bird, Jen Hang aka Specky, Sa Yu aka Sayur, Lim See How aka SEE HOW (SHIT PIPE direct translation, but he is damn good at this game), Ah Ben, Sun Kok Heng aka Sa Kok and me. We split into two: Jenny, Jen Han, Go Lo, Lim See How, Ah Ben, Vic Kang and me. We are considered the underdog... but luckily we have See How. He is quite good at the game. We think out of some strategies because it is not like some mindless game. But the strategy turned out to be good because we kind of massacre the other team 5-0, yes 5 nails.... hahaha, in their faces. On that day, we finished up almost 4000 pellets ( can't call it bullet), but it was good especially the elimination game. No, YL, I not badly shot, only like 10 shots. And I also think someone up there really like me because in one round, I am able to catch a flag, and I am able to walk, yes I meant I walked back to our base without a shot, and that is the final flag for our round 3 games.

We went to Claire place to take a bath before having lunch in Puchong's food court. The food there is not that great, but the company of friends is good. We have basically like 20 dishes of food on the table. And we have our meals for like an hour and half. I have to send two of the guys back to Seremban, because they been ditch by our friend, Leslie Cheung aka Tong Yuen. Because I thought I will be driving to KLCC to shop at Banana Republic, but for 'brothers', we cannot argue much.

At 3:33 we reach Seremban. Jen Han decided to hang out at my place and suggested me to get more furniture from IKEA to match my status, which I find baseless because I don't really need that much of furniture. Then I send Jen Han back to his house at 5pm.

I was thinking to have my dinner by myself... although my father asked me to join him for dinner, but I was like 'I am too tired'. So, I cook by myself some Chinese fettuccine with soup. Then Chiew Kim Cheong aka Tai Chiew (Big Chilies) and his family showed up with some cheese cakes. It was his birthday on July 7, 2007. Yup, triple 7s. We have some cheese cake and I made some cooktails for drinks. Vodka, Merlot, Apple with Aloe Vera, Ice Cubes and some Perrier water are the ingredients. We have some chit chat until 9:45pm regarding some business opportunities. Yup, we worked on our birthday too. Then, I watch some chinese dramas before sleeping.

So, that was my 29th birthday... and don't worry for Chinese we have another birthday coming up, hahaaha! And for next year, it will be a bigger event, because I will be 30.
