My bureau table...

Remember from the old movie, where the old English man like to write on a compartmental table? I meant where they can lock the table after pulling down the slide or such? I have one on my hand last Friday... hehe it is the best, because it was designed with the precision and everything is in place...the painting on the table was dated back to the 19th century, it is an antique... cool huh? I will take the photos later... I still need to clean it up and putting some personnel on it...

My kitchen

Up to date:

My kitchen is almost complete with my usual accessories except a deep fryer and steamer. I still needed a cast iron pan, which is the best to cook meat, and a big food processor...

I have been shopping or 'borrowing' my kitchen appliances such as a slow cooker, an espresso maker, a stove with oven, and more...

I am looking for more food party next year... I really hope I won't be blacklisted for poisoning my guests ...hehehe!

Looking forward for it...

The X'mas

First of all, I did not received coal for x'mas... I am the nice guy what...phew, lucky.

Second, I was drinking on x'mas eve with my dad, and after that I went to a local pub which is owned by my dad's friend (I didn't know that, I swear) and was drinking there until 2am and went to karaoke with my dad's friend's crew to a karaoke until 5am...poor me...well have to get some x'mas atmosphere and I met some interesting people there...

Third, woke up at 7am, and went back to bed and wake up at 8:45am because needed to go to KL for food with my dad at 9:30am. Reach Pavilion at 10:20am where there are many patrons already. So, did some window shopping because the thing over there is ridiculously expensive. Have some food at Jogoya restaurant at 11am although our reservation is 11:30am, but because they have turkey so I think it is a good deal. Have some sashimi, chinese food, tempura, turkey, cheese cake, mochi cake, Haagen Diaz ice cream and etc. which is very good, but compared to their track record, they can do better. Then return to Pavilion to shop for food, but my fresh lobster is not there, they sell frozen lobster, but I wanted something fresh... so I did not buy it. Bought some chocolates and a bottle of champagne for new year. My brother called me to have dinner where he is going to cook (the scary tunes started to play in my mind)... he asked me to get him some luncheon meat/ spam...hmmm... fried rice.

Fourth and lastly, the clock shows 7:15pm, I was at the old house... my brother showed me the ingredients of what he is going to prepare that day... hmm... broccoli, baby carrots, badly marinated chicken, frozen potatoes wedges, 2 boxes of left over rice, hot dogs and mayonnaise.
I was observing him cutting the broccoli, and frying the fries...it was scary... I told him, I will do the cooking... so I cut the broccoli and the baby carrot, mixed them up and put some hot water on them and quickly put them on ice water. I saw him frying the fries... wrong method again. I do it by myself again... and finally I shooed him off the kitchen and I cook the fries, cook the hot dogs, fried the chicken, make a tom yum soup and finally fried rice. And I make some cocktails and open up a champagne... a invited dinner becoming my own dinner party...hahaha, funny huh? Went to bed at 12:30 midnight.

Tong Yuen Nite

Today is the winter celebration, where Chinese usually emphasized more on today compared to Chinese New Year. It is a day where they are sending the deities back to heaven.

Also today is the day where all the family members returned from everywhere to home to have tong yuen. Hmm... What is tong yuen? Tong Yuen is a dessert made from gluttonous rice powder to made a ball (size: 0.5inches to 1inch dia. ) and it will later cook with some sweet base soup. Not bad huh?

I am having my dinner at home tonite.

Are you A Player?

This morning I heard a very funny psychology question:

Your friend told you that he/she met a very beautiful nurse( can be man/woman)

What will be on your mind:

1. The nurse is a very beautiful/handsome

2. The nurse has a pretty/charming eyes and pretty white

3. The nurse is good hearted / inner beauty and good looking

4. The nurse has a normal look but have a hot body

Which will you choose?

The explanation:

1. You are a player. But be careful because player usually get burned.

2. You are a good hearted person. A player, but you never do anything to hurt the person.

3. A good hearted person, an average player. Will emphasize more on inner beauty and not the look.

4. A person who thought he/ she is a player, where he/she is not... sorry you will usually get hurt badly.

My True Love...

Well you most probably thinking I found a gal, nope... think again...

I was fetching my god sister's friends from Jaya Jusco and imagine what pulled me to the bargain counter? It has a perfect built body, very bad temper, but always give me the best result??? Tada: A coffee expresso maker for half price... I am in heaven. It is a DeLonghi coffee maker... I was out of breath when I saw it... I went to talk to the sales and check with it... and it have a milk tray for cappuccino. It is perfect... perfect with the Illy coffee powder that I bought earlier that week...I paid for it and I make my first cup of coffee when I reach home...It is the best cup of brewed coffee I ever have...

The House Party

Hmmm... the unforeseen house party happened this week...why?

Well, my god Sis, Jess came in from JB on Friday's nite to attend a wedding dinner on Saturday... well she was college mate/close friend that I have from Inti College. I invited her and her friends to stay at my place because I have rooms to spare.

She came to Seremban first, where we went to have some fine dinner in KL and I bump into a 'bump'/ Mr. Sean Lai because he seemed to be to busy to meet up with old friends like me, but not with some beautiful office colleagues... man what a player. We ended to leave the restaurant at 1am and reach Seremban at 2am. It was a blast...

I have to go to work at 7am and I leave the house and came back to fetch her friends around 4pm... all of them are crazy bunch... and it was nice to have them.

We play TAI 'D' until 4am with drinking (I broke my vows not to drink for two months) and as we said it always happened...

The result: I will have more house parties next year because it seemed that I really enjoy it.
